INSOMNIA

That's it! I am calling out the Calvary, Blogger, friends, foe, I need your help finding a remedy for this Insomnia. I have tried a hot toddy, exercise, sleeping pills(work, but can't wake up), supplements and I have run out of options. I looking for something new to help me get past the sleepless nights. I know if I had more sleep I could rejuvenate my soul.
I have heard that as you get older you need less sleep, are you kidding, I know even old people need more than two hours at a time. Its a crazy cycle, sleep, 2 hours, wake, pee, sleep, 2 hours, wake, pee, how do I break the cycle? Maybe if I just stayed up, I would pass out from exhaustion. Could it be that the house is so quiet now, have I got used to the comfort of turmoil? The timing seems right. Maybe I just don't have enough to do, ha, that's a joke.
Please send your suggestions, your Granny's remedies or any suggestion, no matter how ridiculous or absurd it sounds, I will try anything.

    Limit your water intake. Stop any liquids at least 4 hours before you plan to go to bed.

    Make sure you're tired when you go to bed too. Do some reading, that's usually good to put you out. Or listen to some music that you like that isn't too up-tempo.


    Exercise is one of those things that will either make you tired or in many cases make you more alert.

    Make sure the bed is only for sleep. I know, I know. Don't read in bed, don't surf the net, don't listen to the radio, etc.
